Tailings dam project success

Consistent production is always a priority on any mine site and ensuring machines are simple to maintain and operate is a key to consistency. The MAX Plant FS1000 Feeder Stacker is one of these machines that follow the KIS theory and in doing so means a successful rental contract.

During MAX Plants recent visit to the customer’s site, the client praised the FS1000 Feeder Stacker as a ‘’show stopper”.

The FS1000 is compliant with the strict Australian mine specification criteria. So far it has stockpiled over 375,000 tonnes of a -120mm rock for a tailings dam project. The mobility of the FS1000 has helped reduce transport costs, increased production rate and improve the customer’s bottom line. The client to a unique approach to the project and utilised the mobility of the track crushing plant along with the track FS1000 allowing the project to follow the dam and reduce product tramming distances.

The MAX Plant service team has praised the customer on their maintenance of the machine throughout the hire. ‘’Prevention is better than cure… The maintenance of your machine is integral to the reliability, performance and output that you achieve’’ MAX Plant site representative stated.
