An existing plant based in Central Western Australia has been moved to its new home at a green field mine near Port Hedland in Northern Western Australia.
Originally designed and supplied as a diesel hydraulic plant MAX Plant have upgraded the plant to its current configuration of electric drive. The plant also features the integration of new equipment to enable an increase in production and change in original specification of 2 products to a new requirement of 1 product at 580 tonnes per hour of minus 12mm material. Saleable product is accumulated in high volume stockpiles due to the integration of two radial stackers that reach 45m in length.
The nature of the current configuration of the plant on site and ethos of the MAX Plant design allows rapid erection and commissioning of the machine. The plant completed production within a relatively short timeframe and was moved to another site. This gives MAX Plant the full assurance that as a design concept has been embraced by our customers who see the value in the investment of a rapidly relocatable high volume high quality production plant.
MAX Future
With a view to future design and progress of the MAX Plant have invested heavily in consolidating an experienced and proven team of engineers and utilizing state of the art visualization and simulation design packages. Using 3D modelling techniques MAX Plant can show clients and engineers real time analysis of potential problem areas which allows input and dialogue thus adding value to the design. Finite Element Analysis of particular critical component parts completes a total design solution and rationalization allowing MAX Plant to confident in the performance of the complete range of machines within the MAX Plant range.
