Over the past 12 months Striker MAX-Plant project team have completed 3 new installations across Western Australia, 2 plants in the North West and 1 plant in the Mid West. Early 2013 saw the installation and commissioning of a MAX Plant that was a mixture of a partial relocation of an existing MAX Plant and an upgrade of new equipment. The plant is totally electric drive controlled by a bespoke operator computer HMI system which integrates all plant functions into an ergonomic and user friendly plant control system.
Following the completion of this plant the project team moved straight onto another MAX Plant, this time a totally new plant was required, and had been designed, fabricated, installed and commissioned by MAX Plant. Working closely with the client we came up with some new and unique plant concepts and managed to ensure that the clients requirements where met on time. The plant is designed to operate at 600 TPH of minus 10mm and has dual stockpiling areas that can store a total of 60,000 tons of product at any one time.
Plant layout sees a Striker JM1310, MAX Plant SCH208 screens, Striker CM500 Mobile Cone Crushers and various equipment including samplers and conveyors including and 2 very impressive 45m radial stockpile conveyors.
The Mid West project again saw MAX Plant relocate an existing MAX Plant and upgrade it to the new format and layout, including new screening stations and a full electrification of the plant from its previous diesel hydraulic set up. Once again proving the benefit of the MAX Plant range, and is a shining example, of the total flexibility and versatility of the MAX Plant concept. The utilization of existing Striker equipment, coupled with its flexible footprint and its ability to absorbed into a new formats at minimum cost and downtime even during site moves puts MAX Plant into a league of its own in plant design and operation.
