| MAX Plant FS1000 Feed Stacker
A Western Australian mine site has hired the MAX Plant FS1000 feeder stacker to process bauxite. Australia is the world’s largest producers of bauxite. Australian bauxite deposits have high grades and are shallow and relatively easy to mine. Bauxite is an aluminium ore found in deposits around the world with aluminium being the most abundant metal in the earth’s crust.
The FS1000 is mounted on tracks allowing it to easily move 300 meters every 3 weeks around the site. The mine is primarily crushing bauxite with a mobile jaw crusher and stockpiling with the FS1000 feeder stacker. The track-mounted FS1000 meets Australian mine specification with 1000mm wide belt, under guards and 10 cubic meter hopper capacity. The feeder stacker hopper can be fed directly from a wheel loader, excavator or from auxiliary equipment.
Using the FS1000 feeder stacker helps reduces tramming time, wheel loader movements and production costs.
Ken and Brett from the sales and service team recently commissioned the feeder stacker on site and will continue to provide support the customer throughout the hire.
