As we all are now aware the situation regarding COVID-19 has evolved significantly over the past few days. At MAX Plant and Striker our management team is taking every precaution to manage the risks associated with COVID-19 to protect our employees, customers and business partners. We are also working diligently to minimise our supply chain disruptions. In this time, as a family Australian business, we appreciate your support more than ever! Please note some important updates below.
| Australian Operations
Our sales and service teams continue to be fully operational. Our parts sales staff are available to answer phone calls, reply to price and availability inquiries and to process orders. Our Capital equipment sales team is also fully operational and are available at all times to take calls and discuss requirements.
However, to protect the health of our employees and customers, for the foreseeable future we are limiting in-person contact with our customers to business-critical contact only. Our full sales team is available by phone, skype and email to assist customers.
Where in-person contact is required our teams will follow the Australian Government Department of Health recommendations regarding social distancing including no shaking of hands, maintaining 2 meters distance at all time and frequent hand sanitation.
| Onsite Service Work
Where our service teams have been engaged to complete a service job on a customer’s site, our teams will work with your teams to ensure they are exercising social distancing, are frequently hand sanitising and are not sharing tools, pens or other such implements.
If you have specific requirements regarding onsite visitors at this time, please ensure these are communicated to our teams in advance of their visit to your site. Click here to request a call back from the service team.
| Supply Chain
We are liaising frequently with key suppliers regarding potential product shortages and at this stage, we are not aware of any significant impacts on product supply. We are also monitoring relevant freight routes for potential delays.
Given this is a rapidly changing situation our management team continues to meet daily to review the impact of COVID-19. We will provide our customers with ongoing updates as required.
In the meantime, if anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate to contact your regular sales or technical representative.
