Continuing a Proven Partnership Across Fenix’s Growing Iron Ore Operations
MAX Plant is proud to announce the award of the Fenix Weld Range Project, representing another important milestone in the long-standing relationship between MAX Plant and Fenix Resources. The project is being delivered under the MAX Plant brand through the broader Striker Group project delivery platform and includes the engineering, manufacture, logistics, installation and commissioning of a complete iron ore processing solution. The project schedule is identified as the MAX Plant Weld Range Project.
The award reinforces a partnership that has been built over multiple successful mine developments across Western Australia. Over recent years, MAX Plant has designed, manufactured and installed complete iron ore processing plants across Fenix’s Iron Ridge, Shine, Beebyn-W11 and Weld Range mine developments, establishing a common processing platform that has supported the company’s continued growth.
The Weld Range project continues this relationship and demonstrates Fenix’s confidence in MAX Plant’s ability to deliver fit-for-purpose processing infrastructure capable of performing in demanding operating environments.
The project scope extends well beyond equipment manufacture and encompasses a complete end-to-end delivery model. Activities include engineering and design, fabrication and procurement, international freight coordination, Western Australian manufacturing and assembly, logistics management, mechanical installation, electrical installation and final commissioning.
The facility will incorporate MAX Plant crushing, screening and materials handling technologies specifically engineered to meet the operational requirements of the Weld Range development. Through a fully integrated delivery approach, MAX Plant will provide a single point of accountability from concept design through to operational handover.
Jordan Pedley, Chief Commercial Officer, said the award reflects the strength of the relationship between the two organisations and the performance of MAX Plant installations across previous Fenix operations.
“This project is particularly significant because it represents the continuation of a relationship that has been built over several successful mine developments. The fact that MAX Plant processing solutions have been selected across all Fenix operations demonstrates the confidence the organisation has in our engineering capability, equipment performance and project delivery model.”
“Weld Range is more than just another plant. It is the next chapter in a partnership that has grown alongside the expansion of Fenix’s mining operations. We are proud to continue supporting that growth.”
The project will leverage resources from across the MAX Plant and Striker Group businesses, drawing on engineering, manufacturing, logistics, electrical and site construction teams throughout Australia and internationally. This integrated capability allows MAX Plant to offer clients a complete project solution while maintaining quality, schedule certainty and operational performance outcomes.
As work commences, MAX Plant looks forward to working closely with Fenix and project stakeholders to safely deliver another world-class iron ore processing facility and further strengthen a partnership that has contributed to the development of some of Western Australia’s most successful iron ore operations.
