The event was held at Joondalup Resort in Perth. Dressed in their best Hawaiian costume Jordan Pedley, Brett Matusevicius, Neil McKenna, Craig Pedley, and Nicole Talbot were there to represent MAX Plant and Striker along with Damian Lloyd from Sedgman. We may not have won the competition, but we did win women’s longest drive with a marshmallow and best dressed!
Brett, our Rental Manager, commented ‘’It was an entertaining day and a great reward for the hard work we have been doing to keep up with the industry boom. A big thanks to the IQA committee and event organiser’s, they did a great job.’’
Nicole, our International Procurement Manager and Craig, our Director, manned hole 7 with a competition to guess how long the lanyard safety wire was to win a bottle of Penfolds Bin 389. Wit guesses from 21m to 4m the winner was 5cm off guessing 9m.
The IQA golf tournament was held as an 18 hole Ambrose-style event followed by awards and networking drinks. The addition of food and drink service, buggies for all players, and mid-game massages ensured everyone involved had a great day.
